WHY TAKE MUSIC LESSONS? - Let's take Piano for example.

GOOD REASONS? There are many good reasons for young children to take music lessons:
they improve self-discipline, dexterity, co-ordination, self-esteem, thinking skills, creative
abilities and personal expression.  Music lessons help children develop their creative
skills and musical giftings. Who are we to deny the world of the next Liberace, Andre
Gagnon, Yanni, or David Foster?

For children, producing a single note on the piano does not require the dexterity
demanded by the string instruments. As a note can be played on the piano with just one
finger, a simple familiar melody can be learned after a few minutes into the first lesson.
This instant gratification factor makes the piano a very popular instrument for young
children.

Regardless of level, the piano is still a very demanding and rewarding instrument to play;
lessons are taught from beginners straight through to Grade 10 Conservatory and ARCT.

WHAT DOES IT COST? Our rates are competitive and very affordable. Piano lessons are
private, per half hour and one-on-one basis which assures that the student gets the
instruction necessary to learn properly. Lessons are conducted once a week and subject
to availability. You are able to choose your time slot. Learning to play an instrument is fun
and affordable.  Rates vary from beginner to senior and in-home to in-studio.

JUST FOR FUN? Can and should students who just want to take music lessons for fun sign
up with an academy of music? Yes. Most of our students take lessons simply because they
